Gerd Throat

I recommend you have regular exercise for i have figured out it somehow has reduced my GERD throat condition and yes “never eat at least 2 or 3 hours before sleeps.

For the last three months I have had what feels like phlegm in my throat which I cannot clear. I believe that a fur ball feeling in your throat and a tongue that feels like a pietre dish and is cruddy and horrible is part of the GERD situation.

I notice right before I have too much mucus in my throat and on my tongue.

Just keep clearing the irritation is constant activity. I have got the throat examined by ENT doctor and he has found nothing wrong other attributing the coughing to GERD. Sometimes GERD can cause problems in your throat. It can make you feel like you have a lump in your throat or like you always have to clear your throat. GERD may also make you feel like you’re choking or that your throat is tight.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease is what happens when liquids and food in your stomach go “the wrong way,” or back up into your throat.

Now I feel there is phlegm at bottom of my throat all day long, it gets worse in the morning as well as after eating. Feels like phlegm in the throat which can’t be cleared and it is most annoying. I get the feeling of a large ball of phlegm at the top of my throat and the tan curd like phlegm. It really burns my throat and tongue from the acid irritation. says it is a result of the acid coming up in my throat and irritating my vocal cords.

Did the GERD symptoms disappear or at least lesten? REgular GERD and LF GERD which is an laryngopharyngeal form of gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Sometimes my mouth is very dry too.

JC. Supposedly, when people have reflux, the acid can come up their esophogus at night, and cause all sorts of problems.like wheezing, coughing, sore throats, etc.

Now I am on toprol for High BP and the DR sent me for a scope, which was normal.

The resulting opening in the lower esophageal sphincter allows acid from the stomach to regurgitate or flow backwards into the esophagus, the tube leading from the throat to the stomach.

I have been diagnosed with GERD. I have tried Nat phos 6x; calc carb 1m and phos 200 for gerd with success.Nat phos also reduced my weight which helps in containing gerd.

My physical suffering involves incessant coughing/ clearing throat with nil symptoms of acidity.

I do have a “lump-like” feel in the pit of my throat when I swallow, at times a “pin-prick”. I sleep fine and wake up fine but as the day progresses I get a sore throat and I have to clear my throat a lot.

Your esophagus isn’t made to handle the acid in your stomach. This acid may also irritate your throat.

If the medicine helps, you and your doctor will know that GERD was the cause of your problems.

Many times, doctors can be fairly certain a person has GERD just by the signs.
